Netveil: 100% Achievement Guide

Welcome to netveil.
For now, just enjoy the game. Read the dialogue, enjoy the music, and have fun.

You’ll be first greeted by the desktop! This is where you’ll spend the whole game.
DO NOT PRESS THE BUTTON IN THE MIDDLE OF THE DESKTOP, AS THAT WILL PROGRESS THE GAME AND RENDER ACHIEVEMENT 1 MISSABLE.

ACHIEVEMENT 1.

Note.txt
Find the discarded note.
The discarded note can be found in the trash can in the top left corner of the desktop. Click on the icon, and the achievement is yours. The trash can icon disappears after the first day, so this is why I told you not to press the big button in the middle of the screen.

ACHIEVMENT 2.

Meow
Boop the cat
To “boop the cat” , press the cat icon on the left side of the desktop. This will open a window with a cat staring into your soul. Boop it. Press the cat’s nose, and the achievement is yours.

ACHIEVEMENT 3.

Kill the fish

This is the hardest achievement of the game. Ready your autoclicker, for you’ll have to press the icon in the top right of the desktop, which will open a game with a fish! To get this achievement, you will have to press the fish 1000 times. Fortunately, you at least get a counter to keep track of how many times you’ve pressed.

ACHIEVEMENT 4

Bad Ending.

I recommend doing the bad ending first, as it brings a bit more depth to the good ending. To progress the game, press the icon in the middle of the screen. That will open up nettalk, netveil’s chatting app. You will now progress through the story, through a few days in-game. With each day, you will get a new journal entry, which you can read if you press the second icon in the top left of the screen. This isn’t required for any achievement, but it will complete the story of the game, and give you some insights on the mind of Veil, the main character.
Without giving any spoilers, there will, at one point in the story, be a choice. The only choice in the game. The bad ending is achieved by chickening out of doing the right thing.
Now, with spoilers. The way to the bad ending is to choose NOT to block Sebastian, when given the choice. Though there is a big button saying ”BLOCK” , press the button in the top right corner that reads “CANCEL”.

The second playthrough can be skipped entirely by pressing ctrl to skip all the dialogue, getting you to the ending choice in less than a minute. If you’ve followed the guide, you should only have one achievement left. If not, this is your chance to get the others, following the instructions in the first part of the guide.

Now, onto ACHIEVEMENT 5.

True Ending
Maybe the future wont be so bad after all
To get the true ending, you must do the opposite of what you’ve done in the bad ending earlier, and make the right choice, when given the option to do so. Now, with spoilers : Block Sebastian. That big button, screaming “BLOCK”? Press it, and you’ve won. After that, just enjoy the heartwarming TRUE ending, and you’re done.
